We are lucky to have some excellent local pubs within walking, cycling or short driving distance away from Marston Lodge Farm. We have listed a few below but would be happy to suggest others as well.

The Tickled Trout Inn, Bilton-in-Ainsty – This pub has recently changed hands and been bought by Karl & Amanda Mainey who have made their name in the pub world turning pubs around so this is very exciting to have such a great pub on our doorstep. The White Swan, Wighill – Situated in the pretty village of Wighill. Excellent beers and delicious food. The pub is run by John & Di who are great hosts and used to live in Marston Lodge Farmhouse! Spotted Ox – Approximately 4 miles from Marston Lodge, in the village of Tockwith. You will drive/cycle past the monument for the Battle of Marston Moor (1644) fought during the English Civil War. A decent pub with good beer. 01423 358387 www.thespottedox.co.uk

The Granary

The Granary is a stunning barn conversion completed in June 2019.

The Granary was renovated and finished in 2019 from once a grain store and livestock barn into a beatufilly designed barn conversion. The Granary sleeps 12 comfortably. There are 4 super-king ensuite bedrooms and a fabulous 'dorm' with 4 adult size single beds. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor with large living kitchen comfortably seating 12 around the oak kitchen table. Large open plan living area with L-shaped sofa situated around a large log burner, 50" Smart TV and a built-in bar. The perfect place to celebrate large gatherings for friends and family. Private garden and communal courtyard. Dog friendly. Private hot tub.

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a beautifully restored and designed traditional farmhouse.

The Farmhouse sleeps 8. Master bedroom with super-king bed and ensuite bathroom. Double bedroom with ensuite. 2 twin bedded rooms sharing a family bathroom. Large living kitchen with log burner with access directly into the private gardenand a cosy separate living room with log burner with 50" Smart TV. Separate pantry with spare fridge and shelving.  Large private garden and communal courtyard. Dog friendly. Private hot tub.

Dovecote Barn

Dovecote Barn was renovated and completed in 2018.  Once a cattle barn and dovecote and now a beautifully renovated barn conversion. Dovecote Barn sleeps 8 comfortably. 1 super-king master ensuite bedroom, 1 king ensuite, 1 king and 1 twin bedded room sharing the family bathroom.  Underfloor heating throughout the living area. Large entrance hall and boot room which leads onto a large open plan kitchen living room. A fabulous kitchen with seating for 10 in the dining area. The L-shaped sofa surrounds a large log burner and creates a fantastic area to relax and watch television or read a book. 50” Smart TV and Sonos music system. Large bi-folding doors open onto a large terrace and extensive south-west facing garden. A courtyard door leads from the dining area onto the centralised courtyard. There is also a large utility and ground floor cloakroom. Private hot tub.
